Take it to Heart

Trumpets are sounding in these days, in this hour. Not limited by time or space, they are sounds in eternity, even eternity-present. What is the sound of the hour? Return to Me, says the LORD God of all the heavens and the Earth.

There's a remnant of souls on the Earth right now, today, that are calling out to GOD, that are seeking Him, that are praying, that are drawing near to Him, that are turning to Jesus, and that remnant is increasing. They are taking it to heart what is being trumpeted and released out in the spirit, what is being sounded into the souls of men, women and children, leaders, even heads of state. It's a sound to return to GOD, to get right with Him, to make room for Him in our hearts, in the core of our beings. It's a joyous sound but it is also the warning sound, a sound of warfare, and alarming sound. I believe, just as the Word of GOD states, that it is because TIME IS SHORT. It's time to seek Him and grasp a hold of the hem of His garment. Do you remember that passage of Scripture in Matthew chapter nine, when Jesus was on His way to raise up a ruler's daughter who had already died. While on His way to a task of resurrection, a woman who had been suffering for years and years with a debilitating condition of hemorrhaging plowed through the crowd under a declaration of wonderful faith saying in her own heart: if I may but touch His garment I will be made whole. Wow! Her act, her physical demonstration of faith to even just briefly touch the hem of His shawl rendered such a powerful instant healing in her body that He had to stop and call her out. He probably felt the power of His Anointing pull from Him, and then He called her Daughter and He told her that her faith had made her whole. What an amazing scene of the Spirit of GOD moving through Jesus and a human being! I think she experienced her own kind of resurrection right in that moment. New life was given to her and she was able to begin anew. She was restored. Only God knows how she may have been on the very brink of death that day. Bleeding for over a decade, despairing over being healthy again, thinking constantly that it was going to eventually kill her. That desperation drove her to Jesus. She was in the area, she must have heard about Him, His message, the healings and miracles He was giving to people. Yeah, she ran to Him our of great need, and she declared it in her heart.

Are we seeking GOD in our hearts today?

Psa 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

When GOD speaks to us (and He does all the time!), do we answer Him from our hearts? We surely need to. The Psalmist David understood that. He answered the LORD's call from his heart saying Yes O GOD, I will seek You, I will even seek Your very Face! Are you seeking to see GOD through the Face of Jesus?

The Psalmist Asaph also understood the other side of this. Psa 81:8-12 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me; There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.  I [am] the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.  So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: [and] they walked in their own counsels.

I dare say if we're living with our hearts turned AWAY from the LORD, if we're living in stubborness and apathy, according to the ways of flesh and not spirit, then we're living in a darkness that that self-induced. We're making ourselves dull of hearing and living as ones who are asleep in unbelief. Help us, LORD to not have hearts that are turned away from You!

LORD God, we just want to thank and praise You for continuing to bring Your Word through Christ before us. Thank You for allowing the trumpeting sounds and calls of Repentance to continue to ring through to us, even to this nation and the nations of the world. Thank You for all those who are hearing and responding, who are beginning to understand the need to repent and the need to seek You while You can still be found! Help us, O Jesus, to be like that woman who was suffering in her body, who longed for and knew that You were the One Who could heal. Help us LORD Jesus to long for You, to know You as GOD our Savior. Not just to save us out of situations and circumstances, not just to save our bodies that may be hurting, but to save us in our hearts. That we may be cleansed of our sins through Your Gift of Salvation in our hearts, the center of our beings. We repent O GOD of having lived our lives according to the ways of the flesh. We repent O GOD of having consciously chosen our own ways, our carnal ways and having a deceitful thought life that is against You. Help us, Jesus, to seek Your Face of Mercy and Light that we may turn from evil and evil's ways that we may be refreshed. Hear the sound of hearts today O LORD that cry out to You asking forgiveness, asking for restoration, asking to be repaired. REPAIRED. "Re-paired" to You, O LORD our Creator. We know that to seek You and find You is to live in Resurrection-Life, in eternity-now and eternity-future. Help us O LORD to now continue to sound the alarm for others that we all may turn to You together, as one, one Body, one Temple, one Spirit. In Your Blessed Name we pray, O Jesus saying Yes and Amen!
