Peace and Pain

Today marks an historic time of events for Israel, for the Middle East, for America and all the nations affected and beholding what is taking place. Those yet living, who were held captive against their will following a brutal and horrific warfare assault of death, mayhem and hatred are finally released back to the crying arms of family, friends and their nation. All of this due to intense negotiations with an enemy longing to see a people permanently destroyed, and it took two very long years to accomplish just these first steps. The plans of men come with many compromises for all involved. Will it be an "everlasting" peace as so many governmental leaders hope it will be? Only time will tell what is to transpire in the coming days, months, years ahead. The "covenants" of men are typically broken, and the Bible warns us all of "peace treaties" that will surely be broken, leading to greater events upon the world. 

Nevertheless, for the victims of all involved in this brutal kinetic warfare that has been taking place on the Earth (and not only in the Middle East!) there is so much Pain. So much pain. Physical pain, mental pain, pain the soul. Can peace and pain dwell in the body simultaneously? Can the body truly be "at peace" when it is suffering pain within and without? How can there be true peace when the body is in distress? When the body, the mind and the spirit are in torture from dis-ease, dis-unity, dis-comfort? What is the remedy? Where is found recovery? Can pain be healed? 

From the Biblical worldview there is only one answer, one way to be healed from "pain," and it is found in a Person: the LORD God Himself and the Truth of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus... Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, the Son of the Living God Who gave Himself as Savior for our sakes, Who gave Himself as the Penalty of Sin, as the Person of Salvation. Yeshua is the Person of Salvation! Hallelujah! 

Blessed Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers in this hour. As we lift Israel, the Jewish nation, as we lift the region of the Middle East, as we lift the Palestinian people, the Arabs and Muslims of the world... as we lift America, the peoples of America and all the nations who are invested in what is happening in these lands today... Father GOD, we praise and thank You for the Gift of Salvation given in the Person of JESUS, YESHUA, Your Precious Lamb. We thank You for what You have allowed in captives being set free in this hour, those who remained. We are thankful to You for allowing America to have a place at the table to bring about a cease to these horrible wars and divisions amongst peoples. We are thankful to YOU and YOU alone, O LORD, for yet having mercy upon us and upon all of the people and nations of the world, that even in this hour, there is yet an opportunity to humble ourselves and pray and believe You for what only YOU can accomplish. The plans and orchestrations of men are something to behold, but YOUR PLAN O LORD, it's Your Plan and Purposes that we love and long to see accomplished in this Earth, for in the midst of Your plans and Purposes for Your people, for all those who believe and trust in You, there is Your Promise, Your Promise of Peace Everlasting. Hallelujah! 

LORD God, we look to You today for the healing of the nations, for the healing that is needed in the souls of all these people: the Jews, the Arabs, the Muslims, the Ukrainians, the Russians, the African peoples, the American peoples, all those dwelling in these lands across the seas... Father GOD, You see it all and You know how much deep rooted and horrific pain the souls of the Earth are in right now. And we come to You asking forgiveness, for we know that there is pain that we have wrought for ourselves... the pain from willful sin, willful ignorance, willful rebellion, willful pride and unbelief, willful rejection of Your Word and Truth. We have done this and we continue to do it today. Yet Your Mercy is still alive and in our midst in the Person of Salvation who said, John 14:25-27 These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you. But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 

We pray O LORD that in Your forgiveness You would cause of revival of the Spirit of Truth in Christ to be blown across the land of Israel, into the hearts of the Jew, into the heart of Islam, into the heart of Christians and all souls who even ponder what true Peace is and if there is truly a GOD Who cares. We pray for the healing that only Christ Jesus can bring to those who are willing to receive Him. There was that Jewish woman, O LORD, who bled and bled and had exhausted all hope of ever being able to live a real, healthy life. A woman whose pain was unbearable and yet she heard about the miracles of Rabbi Yeshua in her land and she determined to go to Him. She made a declaration of faith in Rabbi Yeshua and the very moment she exerted the grain of faith that was within her, her healing came. And O the amazing and wonderful thing Rabbi Yeshua said to her, and says today for ALL of us suffering with all these unbearable pains: 

Mark 5:28-34 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in [her] body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

O LORD, we pray, let our souls seek Your face, let us hear the truth of Your Word and respond right now in this hour, let us be stirred in our most holy faith given to us, that we may turn to You, turn to You and touch You by the Power of the Holy Spirit within, believing, believing, believing in the Peace and the Healing that only You offer and only You can bring to pass in our lives.  Let us, by Faith, the Faith of the Dear Son that has been sown by measure into the hearts of all humanity... let us touch You by Faith so that Your Faith will touch us that we made be made WHOLE, Complete, Finished, even as You said on Your Cross, so that we can "go in peace." So that we can go on in the remaining days of our lives on this side of eternity, in peace, awaiting Your Soon Return. 

Your Peace is Your Promise O LORD! Your prophet Ezekiel knew it even as he knew the Dry Bones will Live, and Your servant Saul who was transformed into the Apostle Paul knew it and knew it as his own blindness was healed and restored! 

Ezekiel 37:24-28 And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.  And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince forever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Our Covenant of Peace, O LORD God, our Tabernacle is the Person of Salvation Whom You have Chosen and Established in Your Own Heart of Being. Your Holy Spirit confirms that it is True. Let the soul of Israel and all who govern her, let all who are Jews in their hearts, let all Arabs and Muslims and Christians in all her denominations, let all of America and all who govern her, let all the nations of the Earth and all the peoples, the souls of the Earth come to Wisdom and Understanding and Knowledge: Repent for the Kingdom of GOD is at hand, turn to the LORD Who created you, and let HIM heal you with His Salvation, YESHUA, and give you Peace.
