Now Is The Time

 There's no better time to begin than...right now. The Bible says in 2Co 6:2 KJV For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation. The Apostle Paul also encourages us as believers to pray without ceasing. 1Th 5:17. 

Don't stop praying! Sounds like it's easier said than done. Yet I consider, as one whose been following the Lord Jesus since a young girl, I find that the more time one spends in the Word of God, reading, studying, learning of Christ and walking with Him, following hard after Him, the more the reality of being filled with His Holy Spirit begins to call you to prayer at all times. Doesn't matter what particular time or day or hour or circumstance. The Holy Spirit leads and guides you in the Heart of the Father through prayer. It's our most precious communication with our Creator and Savior, and it's vital to Life... here on Earth now and in eternity. 

We've just entered into a special time approaching the High Holy Days, the Feasts of the LORD in the month of Elul according to the Hebrew calendar. The signs of the Second Coming of Christ are coming to pass before our eyes in the natural now more than ever before, and it is imperative that believers across the world begin praying as never before. 

As one called into intercessory prayer for many years and blessed to be able to put words of prayer to paper, the LORD laid it on my heart to begin this blog in this hour. As the LORD leads me in this, I will be posting prayers to these pages perhaps daily, weekly, or whenever He says to. Prayers for the nation, the Body of Christ, for leaders and those in position of authority... for families, people in need of healing, global issues, prayers for children, prayers for our cities, our neighbors. Prayers can take the form of poems, cries out to Him, thoughts on His Word, even dreams or interpretations of dreams. Prayer, as I've discovered over many years, can go into the realm of prophetic knowledge and understanding... visionary sight and wisdom. The life of prayer before the LORD is extraordinary and wondrous, and in this world that we are sojourning through, in these days, it is so deeply needed.  

So, I begin in this moment, Father God, to call upon You with praises and thanksgiving in my heart for Your Great Mercies and Forgiveness. I am ever mindful, O GOD that in coming before Your Presence, it is done in humility and by the Grace of Your Spirit. You are Holy, So Holy.  Forgive us, O LORD when we forget or put it out of mind that You are the LORD God Creator of all the Universe and this Earth and Your Exquisite Being is HOLY. Thank You for the Blood of Jesus that has made way for us to be reconciled to You and that we can now come before Your Throne Named Grace. Hallelujah! 

I pray in this moment, O LORD, that You would place Your Loving Hands and the Anointing of Your Spirit upon these pages so that whosoever would read the words, that it wouldn't just be about the words, but about the touching of hearts. About the cleansing and healing of hearts and souls and bodies as we come before You in humility and repentance. Your Word has declared to us that repentance leads to Salvation, and so let us come before You with repentant hearts, that we would open wide that door of Salvation for our very souls. 

In these last few days, O Father, we have seen tragedy and carnage befall this nation and we see how so many souls are just without hope. Forgive us O Father God for how far we have turned away from You here in America and around the world, and especially for how we have not led our children to follow after You according to Your Word! So few, so few have taken knowledge of You, and O Lord Jesus, we repent of that and ask today, by Your forgiveness, that You would help us to turn the children back to You! Help us O Righteous Father to turn the children of this nation and around the world back to having knowledge of You! For I know when they have knowledge of You, they will come to love You in Spirit and in Truth. Let salvation come to this generation of young people, O LORD, for we know that You love them. You gave the Blood of Your Son for them and You long to use them mightily in these last days to bring forth a great harvest of souls for Your Kingdom. Hallelujah! 

Father God, I thank You and give You praise for Your loving kindness. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD my Strength and my Redeemer. 

In Your Precious Name, LORD JESUS! Amen and Amen.

 To Labour We just got through Labor Day here in the United States which celebrates the workforce. A federal holiday so, it's a day off from work, yay! Who doesn't like having a day off from work? Comforter

 A day to be comforted.  Blessed be the Name of the LORD and His Christ Who is the Comforter; through the One Who sees all oppression and determines to bring us Consolation. Whether to just one person, or a family, or a neighborhood, a city, even to a whole nation of people. It is You O LORD our God Who brings comfort, Who gives comfort, Who offers it freely.  Thanks be to the LORD our God Who is Love and Who is moved in His Own Living Heart to be moved with pity, with grief for a soul, for a house, for those in need. Peace and Pain

Today marks an historic time of events for Israel, for the Middle East, for America and all the nations affected and beholding what is taking place. Those yet living, who were held captive against their will following a brutal and horrific warfare assault of death, mayhem and hatred are finally released back to the crying arms of family, friends and their nation. All of this due to intense negotiations with an enemy longing to see a people permanently destroyed, and it took two very long years to accomplish just these first steps. The plans of men come with many compromises for all involved. Will it be an "everlasting" peace as so many governmental leaders hope it will be? Only time will tell what is to transpire in the coming days, months, years ahead.
