Chief Cornerstone

 When we consider, when we gaze upon and meditate upon Your Name, O Yeshua, in all of their forms, we are astounded, amazed and filled with the wonder of You. 

Everything is built upon You! 

Isaiah Your servant prophet prophesied from Your Spirit of Truth saying, "I lay for a foundation..."

That's what You did O Great ABBA Father, You laid the foundation, from even Time before, You founded, ordained, established, appointed, instructed, set, made sure to begin... the foundation of all things upon Your Beloved Son Jesus. Hallelujah! 

Just as You founded the heavens and the Earth.... in the same way a building is placed, in the same way a kingdom is founded or established... in the same way You cause men to be settled in any country... You founded Your Most Holy Son as the Cornerstone and He is Chief! The Foundational Stone upon which the Kingdom of GOD is established and set. You took counsel together in Yourself as Yahweh, as Son of the Living GOD, and as Holy Spirit... as the Psalmist wrote, Thou hast founded glory for Thyself...the work of Thy fingers... even as the stars and the moon. Ordained of the LORD our GOD. 

And You did it in Zion O LORD. That sunny parched place of light, the place of a mountain of light that is as a title, a waymark, a sign, a signpost... a pillar that shows the way, a guiding pillar. In the desert that blooms, in the desert that will rejoice and blossom.... the One Who grows up as a tender plant. O Chief Cornerstone, shining brighter than the sun at noonday! Pure and chaste, superintending all things. Perfect, complete, the One Who glitters from afar off, leading in the music. The Songs of the Cornerstone... Hallelujah! The music of Your Heart that causes us to sing with You, to sing even the new song promised! Innocent, Preeminent, Enduring, Victorious, Reliable. Glory to You O Chief Cornerstone, everything built upon You. 

One soul given the breath of life, built upon You. One Earth, one tiny blue planet amongst all the created hosts of the heavenly cosmos: built upon You. the families of the Earth, multiplying and built upon You. The men and women of GOD who heard and obeyed and proclaimed Your Word far and wide: all built upon You. From Moses and the Law to the Prophets and the Psalms and the Apostles: all built upon You. Surely You are the True Tried and Tested Stone. Approved of GOD the Father, tried like gold. Perfectly fit to be the Prince of Peace, the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. 

The Precious Cornerstone You are O Yeshua. So costly and excellent, so filled with brilliance, clear, prized and weighty.... So splendid and glorious, the Precious Gem that is GOD's Loving Kindness. Precious and so highly esteemed of the Father, honored and MAGNIFICENT. It's why we also call You, the DEAR SON. Even as Your apostles and prophets came to realize and recognize You as Chief Cornerstone, let us all who find the words of faith and prayer stirring in our hearts this day, recognize and acknowledge You fully and wholeheartedly as the One upon whom we are built, even eternally. 

Hallelujah and Amen!

 To Labour We just got through Labor Day here in the United States which celebrates the workforce. A federal holiday so, it's a day off from work, yay! Who doesn't like having a day off from work? We sure appreciate that. However, my concern is about laboring in prayer. What does it mean to "labor in prayer?" Or, to labor in anything for that matter? There are several different words in the Scriptures which tell us about what it is to labor: from bearing children, bringing forth, bearing, birthing, being born, to toiling at work, producing, acquiring property (through work), even in respect to riches and wealth. Comforter

 A day to be comforted.  Blessed be the Name of the LORD and His Christ Who is the Comforter; through the One Who sees all oppression and determines to bring us Consolation. Whether to just one person, or a family, or a neighborhood, a city, even to a whole nation of people. It is You O LORD our God Who brings comfort, Who gives comfort, Who offers it freely.  Thanks be to the LORD our God Who is Love and Who is moved in His Own Living Heart to be moved with pity, with grief for a soul, for a house, for those in need. You take a strong forcible breath, hallelujah and it is not just to grieve with us or for us, but also as the One Who brings the help, Who brings Life, Who even takes vengeance on our behalf, hallelujah!  You've taken a part of Your Living Soul O Yeshua and You call Yourself the Comforter, and Your promise is You abide with us forever. Peace and Pain

Today marks an historic time of events for Israel, for the Middle East, for America and all the nations affected and beholding what is taking place. Those yet living, who were held captive against their will following a brutal and horrific warfare assault of death, mayhem and hatred are finally released back to the crying arms of family, friends and their nation. All of this due to intense negotiations with an enemy longing to see a people permanently destroyed, and it took two very long years to accomplish just these first steps. The plans of men come with many compromises for all involved. Will it be an "everlasting" peace as so many governmental leaders hope it will be? Only time will tell what is to transpire in the coming days, months, years ahead.
