For All Have Sinned

 For all have sinned.

It states in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Like they say, Ain't that the truth! It sure is, and as such every soul should be going before God to ask forgiveness. We don't always do that, though. Some don't even find it to be a thing worth doing because they do not believe in God or the Lord, much less in His Son, called Jesus, the Christ, Redeemer of all Mankind. What a perplexing world this is that we can see the awesome majesty of Creation all around us across this planet Earth and yet have no sense of inclination to believe there is a Creator, the Source of Life.

Well, I believe in Him and so it's there, set in my heart....to pray to Him.

It is true, O LORD our God, what You have decreed in Your Word, that we have sinned, that ALL have sinned and fallen short of Your Glory. Forgive us, Father God for all that we do and say and think and feel that is not lined up with the wondrous and glorious, holy things of Your Word that is all part of and meant to bring us to that place of Understanding wherein we can be called the sons of God. Thank You Father God that it is all found in the Life of Jesus, Your Son, our Savior. We know that sin separates us from You for sin cannot dwell before Your Presence. We don't want to be separated from You, O LORD. Thank You for Jesus Who is the Lamb of God, slain before the foundation of the world, Who has reconciled us to You, if we believe. And that's the crux of it, O LORD, isn't it? IF we believe.

Let us pray today for any and all out there who may be on the fence of believing, who may be caught in that place in their minds where they consider they should believe in Jesus, or partially think He's real and true, but are filled with a lot of questions and debate and controversies from the world. Things they hear others talk about, or things they've experienced in life that have created roots of bitterness, anger, resentments, hurts and pains that they probably feel no one else can know or understand. Father GOD, in the Almighty Name of Jesus, we pray and make intercession for all those souls out there who are in that place, just on the verge... who may just need that little urge to say Yes, Jesus, I believe in You and want to know You. That soul, O LORD, who may be crying out right now in this moment somewhere out in the world saying, "If You are real, Jesus, show me who You are! Make it real to me! I have doubts, I have questions, but if You are real then show me, make the difference, open my eyes, Jesus so that I know and experience the awesome things said about You!

That soul, O LORD, for that one soul, O LORD Jesus, who is out there in this moment today... we bless them to come to know You. We bless them to make that confession of faith in You. We bless them to say it with their own mouths and to not back down from it. To make the declaration: I believe You died for me, Jesus and I ask you now to give me the life You have to offer! Thank You Jesus for even that one soul who turns to You and steps into the realm of Grace and Peace. That's a soul who will have a share in Your Promises of Eternal life, the exceeding and abundantly given Life that is found in You and You alone. That's a soul who will not miss the mark! That's a soul who will not wander from the path of righteousness but will begin to walk in newness of life! That's a soul who will not be late, lacking or be left behind. But that's a soul who's name can now be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Thank You LORD Jesus for every soul out there right now today who is hearing and receiving the Truth of Your Word and who is making that decision, that choice, that determination that Yes, they have the faith of the Son of God within them and they're going to walk the paths made straight, the paths of righteousness. We may have fallen short yesterday, but today is a new day, O GOD, a day to choose You, to choose Life! Hallelujah. And that's what we'll do! In the Almighty Name of Jesus. Amen and Amen!!
